Mirjapur, 07 October (HC). The police uncovered the gangs who have raised money by black-mailing the tourists coming on the Durgaji hill under Chunar Kotwali area. The police arrested four accused who raised money by making videos of people.
Bhonu Ali son, resident of Ramsipur of Rohania police station area of Varanasi district. On October 5, Munir gave Chunar Tahrir against the accused named at Chunar police station. Told that while walking on the Durgaji hill, he was threatening to ask for illegal money from him and kill him.
On Monday, the Chunar police arrested four accused Kamlesh Pal son Ramashankar Pal resident Kuba Khurd (Taranga), Lavkush Yadav son Viarahu Yadav and Dinesh Sharma alias Nate son Kanhaiya Sharma resident Tekur police station and Nishant alias Golu Jaiswal son Munna Jaiswal resident Tuua police station. Two motorcycles and two mobile phones were recovered from the spot. In connection with arrest and recovery, the arrested accused were sent to jail while taking legal action at the police station Chunar.
Inspector-in-charge Chunar Ravindra Bhushan Maurya said that during interrogation, the accused confessed that they hide their money by making photos and videos on the Durgaji hill, making black-mails.
