Actor Ajay Devgn announced one of the most-awaited film, Dhamaal 4, and shared a major update on the film’s production. Taking to his official Instagram account on Thursday (April 10), Ajay shared a couple of pictures with his co-actors and the makers of the film from the sets. However, the announcement has left netizens disappointed. Yes, you read that right.
Soon after the photos were shared on Instagram, fans of the franchise pointed out that actor Ashish Chaudhary, who played the role of Boman Contractor in the previous films, is missing from the cast.
The photos featured Ajay, along with Sanjay Mishra, Arshad Warsi, Jaaved Jaaferi, Riteish Deshmukh, Sanjeeda Shaikh and Anjali Anand. But netizens were upset as Ashish was missing from the picture.
However, it is not known if Ashish is only missing from the picture or the whole film.

Reacting to the post, a user commented, “We want OG sqaud..😢 Dhamal 1 is still better than other parts.”
“Please bring Ashish Chaudhury, Asrani and Sanjay Dutt back as well,” another user commented.
“Dhamaal is incomplete without Ashish Chaudhary,” a third fan wrote in the comments section.
Another user wrote, “Baman Baman sorry ek baar Baman ko wapas lao yaar please.”

The film’s first schedule was recently wrapped up, with the team shooting amid the picturesque landscapes of Malshej Ghat in Maharashtra. The scenic location added a fresh visual appeal to the start of this high-energy comedy caper. According to a social media post by Ajay, the second schedule of the shoot will soon kick off in Mumbai.
This time around, the cast will feature seasoned performers like Ravi Kishan and Vijay Patkar, bringing their unique comedic flair to the ensemble.
Dhamaal 4 is directed by Indra Kumar and produced by a powerhouse team including Ajay Devgn, Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Ashok Thakeria, Indra Kumar, Anand Pandit, and Kumar Mangat Pathak.
The original Dhamaal, released in 2007, was a major hit and is still remembered for its slapstick humour and unforgettable characters. Directed by Indra Kumar and produced by Ashok Thakeria, the film starred Sanjay Dutt, Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Aashish Chaudhary, and Javed Jaffrey in lead roles, with a strong supporting cast including Asrani, Sanjay Mishra, Murli Sharma, Vijay Raaz, Manoj Pahwa, Tiku Talsania, and Prem Chopra.
Thanks to its massive success, Dhamaal grew into a popular comedy franchise with sequels Double Dhamaal (2011) and Total Dhamaal (2019).
