Stand-up comedian Kunal Kamra is in the news for his parody targeting Shiv Sena leader and Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde during his stand-up show Naya Bharat at Habitat in Mumbai. On Wednesday, he shared a new parody in which he took a jibe at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, humorously claiming how he will spend the next 20 years — in a one-sided love with another Italian woman, hinting at Italy’s Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.
Kamra said, “Modi ji, Meloni ji ke peeche pizza pan leke ghoom rahe hain. Dhokla pizza banana sikha rahe hain unko. Arre Modi ji, pyaar mein hain bhai! Roz raat ko 1:30 baje Meloni ke saath Jio ke network pe hote hain.” Titled the video as Tanasha (dictator) O Tanasha, Kamra used Shah Rukh Khan’s iconic song Badshah O Badshah’s parody version.
Further, Kamra proceeds to sing, “Jhootha hu main, kaatil bhi hoon, sab ghotaalo main, shaamil bhi hoon. MP churana, voices dabana, bas yahi mera kasoor. Waadon se apne mukarta nahi, poora unhe kabhi karta nahi, Tanasha O Tanasha.”
He adds, “Dogla (hypocrite) hun main, khokla bhi hoon. Khata roz main dhokla bhi hoon. Schemein churana, apna batana, schemein churana, apna batana, bas yahi mera kasoor. Degree main apni dikhata nahi, naukri kisi ki lagata nahi.”
On Tuesday, Kamra shared that was approached for the upcoming season of Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss 19. He took to Instagram Stories to share his chat with a person, who claimed to be a casting agent. The message from the casting director read, “I am handling the casting for this season of Bigg Boss and your name came up as someone they might find interesting. I know it might not have been on your radar, but honestly, it’s such a mad platform to show your real vibe and win over a massive audience. What do you think? Should we talk about it?”

Responding to the message, Kunal wrote, “I would much rather check into a mental hospital…” He posted the story with a song from Salman Khan film, Radhe.
