IPL 2025, mi vs rcb: Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Rajat Patidar has been convicted after a stunning victory against Mumbai Indians. The BCCI has fined Patidar. In the 20th match of IPL 2025, Bengaluru won a exciting win over Mumbai by 12 runs. This is RCB’s third win in 4 matches. This is Mumbai’s fourth defeat in five matches. RCB gave Mumbai a target of 222 runs, in response to which Hardik Pandya’s team could score 209 runs after losing 9 wickets.

After this brilliant victory, Bangalore captain Patidar has been fined for violating IPL rules during the match. The BCCI on Tuesday fined the silver Patidar for a slow over-run speed.

Punishment for violation of IPL rules

Bengaluru maintained a slow over speed during the match played against Mumbai Indians at Wankhede Stadium. This was the first crime of the team in this session, so captain Patidar has been fined Rs 12 lakh under Section 2.22 of the IPL code of conduct related to minimum over speed crimes. Patidars have become the fourth captain punished for slow over speed. Prior to him, Hardik Pandya, Ryan Parag and Rishabh Pant have also been fined.

Patidar was the Player of the Match in the match against Mumbai. He scored 64 runs off just 32 balls. Batting first, Bengaluru scored 221 for 5 wickets thanks to the brilliant innings of Patidar and Virat Kohli. After this, Krunal Pandya stopped Mumbai Indians from chasing the target. Pandya took 4 wickets for 45 runs in 4 overs. In front of his bowling, Mumbai Indians could only manage 209 runs for 9 wickets in 20 overs. Tilak Verma scored 56 runs for Mumbai.
