For The First Time In Madhya Pradesh’s Ashoknagar, Dog Donates Blood To Save Fellow Canine’s Life |
Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A heartwarming incident was reported in Madhya Pradesh’s Ashoknagar, in which a dog donated blood to save the life of another dog. It is said, this was the first such case occurring in the district.
According to the incident, the female pet of Sonu Raghuvanshi, a resident of Ashoknnagar, was facing severe bleeding due to miscarriage.
Unfortunately, all her unborn puppies had died inside her womb, and she urgently needed surgery.

Dog’s blood level dropped drastically
During a blood test, veterinary doctor Shivendra Agrawal found that the dog had a dangerously low blood level. Without a blood transfusion, the operation couldn’t be possible and her survival was at risk.
Therefore, doctor Agrawal asked Sonu to arrange 3 units of blood immediately.
Sonu then reached out to local social worker Priyesh Sharma. Priyesh contacted police constables Harendra Raghuvanshi and Krishna Raghuvanshi, who are active members of the Blood Help Group.
‘Google’ saved his fellow
Harendra and Krishna Raghuvanshi brought their pet dog named Google to the district veterinary hospital. After matching the blood type, doctors Shivendra Agrawal and Tripti Lodhi successfully performed the blood transfusion, which is possibly the first-ever animal blood transfusion in the district.
Fortunately, the female dog survived the surgery.
With the successful effort of saving a life, Priyesh Sharma made a strong appeal to the public to encourage them to donate blood for the needy.
