Relief news has come to light about the health of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) President and former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav. He was recently admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi, where he underwent a successful operation on Thursday.
Successful operation in AIIMS
76 -year -old Lalu Prasad Yadav was suffering for two days due to a deep wound in his back. On Thursday, a team of senior doctors of AIIMS performed him an operation, which was completely successful. After the operation, he has been shifted from the ICU to the ward. During this time he was accompanied by his wife Rabri Devi and other families in the hospital.
Preliminary medical treatment was done in Patna before bringing Delhi
After Lalu Yadav’s health deteriorated, he was first admitted to Paras Hospital in Patna. After treatment there, he was brought to Delhi AIIMS for better treatment at around 9:35 pm.
Talking to reporters in Patna, his son and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav said, “Father’s back and hand wounds, whose treatment was possible with the operation.”
What happened before reaching Delhi?
Tejashwi Yadav said that his father had left for Delhi by normal aircraft in the afternoon, but was immediately rushed to Paras Hospital after the blood pressure fell at the airport. The team of doctors immediately started emergency treatment and his condition improved after intravenous therapy. The doctors then allowed him to be sent to Delhi.

Leader of the Opposition in the Bihar Legislative Assembly Tejashwi Yadav said, “My father is a very courageous person. He chose to travel by a normal plane, while his health was critical. The family is definitely worried about his health, but he has always been confident about his health.”
Lalu Yadav is struggling with many serious diseases
Lalu Yadav has long been suffering from serious diseases like kidney, heart disease and diabetes. His kidney transplant has been done in Singapore, in which his daughter Rohini Acharya donated her kidney. He has been under special care and medical surveillance since the transplant.
He is often brought for routine checkup at AIIMS in Delhi. During the journey within the capital Delhi and Bihar, they run with special vehicles and medical facilities.
