Animal Husbandry Minister Saurabh Bahuguna has instructed the authorities not to include horses or mules infected with this virus in any journey. He said that if any horse or mule involved in the journey is found infected with this disease, then the officers concerned will be responsible for this and no officer should take it lightly and personally get all the horses and mules checked.

The Animal Husbandry Minister said that virus has been found in 12 Ashwavanishi animals in Rudraprayag alone, but the government has ordered an inquiry into all horses and mules on the travel route and animals in which the virus has been found has been qualified, and two Quarrant Centers are being built in Rudraprayag to prevent it.
