The Bharatiya Janata Party in Bihar can field veteran leaders in the assembly elections. The BJP may try some faces losing the Lok Sabha elections in the Bihar assembly elections.
This formula of the party was earlier successful in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. The BJP wants to change the equation of the opposition by taking veteran leaders in its influence areas.
Earlier, during the Madhya Pradesh assembly elections, the party fielded former Union Ministers Narendra Singh Tomar, Prahlad Singh Patel and Uggan Singh Kulatse. Apart from this, MPs including Kailash Vijayvargiya were also declared candidates for the assembly elections. Similarly, former Union Ministers Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, Dia Kumari, Balaknath and Kirori Lal Meena were fielded in Rajasthan. Most of the legendary leaders, who were contesting in the assembly elections, were successful in winning. This also increased the morale of the workers. The BJP now wants to try the same formula in Bihar as well. However, there is no possibility of performing the current MPs.
Ramkripal Yadav, R.K. in the last Lok Sabha election in Bihar Singh, Sushil Kumar Singh, Mithilesh Tiwari and Shivesh Kumar suffered defeat. But in view of the regional and local caste equations during the assembly elections, the BJP can field these leaders in the assembly elections.
