Even after becoming a teacher in Delhi, my attachment to cricket remained. When Priyansh was small, we used to sit together and watch matches on TV. One day he saw Sourav Ganguly and Chris Gayle playing and said that he also wants to become a cricketer like him.”
Gayle’s aggressive batting and Ganguly’s leadership ability influenced Priyansh deeply. At the same time, he started batting left-hand and today he takes the ground with the same inspiration.
