On the day of Ram Navami, get up in the morning in Brahma Muhurta and take a bath and wear clean clothes. Wearing red clothes is considered auspicious to get the grace of Hanuman ji. First purify the flag place with Ganga water. Then bathe the bamboo and flag brought for the flag with water. Apply vermilion and ghee on bamboo.
Instead of planting the flag, keep Ganga water, copper coin, akshat, flower, paan leaf and astringent and then install Hanuman ji’s flag.
