Mumbai-Two friends were looking at each other from the roof of a multi-storey building in Dadar, when a 20-year-old college student jumped. Since the girl was depressed, both took her to convince her and this horrific incident occurred before her eyes.
The Matunga police have registered a report of accidental death and are further investigating the case. The 20 -year -old Zaina Sethia lived with her family on the eighth floor of the Techno Heights Building in Dadar’s Hindu Colony. She was a B.Com third year student. She was sad for a few days. Two of his friends often used to come to meet him. He also came to Zaina’s house yesterday evening. He then moved to the roof of the 14th floor building. They were trying to convince Zaina. Before both of them could do anything, he suddenly jumped from the roof.
Senior Police Inspector Rajendra Pawar of Matunga Police Station said, “It collided with the window and fell on the ground a little distance.” He was taken to the hospital. But Zaina died. It is said that he is disappointed with failure in love. The police did not get any suicide note from the deceased.
The police sent the body for postmortem and started further investigation. The mobile phone of the deceased is also being investigated. The police have found his diary. The official said that he has indicated suicide in this.
The police have taken statements of both friends present during the incident. However, he could not give detailed information due to mental trauma. Police is also investigating CCTV footage to get more information about the incident. Apart from this, security guards and other potential witnesses are also being questioned to gather more information.
