New initiative of Uttar Pradesh government: ‘Outsource Service Corporation’ will bring transparency in outsourced recruitment

The Uttar Pradesh government has taken a very important and visionary step. Now transparency and fairness will be ensured in the recruitment through outsourcing in the state. For this, the government is creating a new corporation called – Uttar Pradesh Outsourced Service Corporation. The purpose of this corporation is clear-corruption, nepotism and exploitation of employees completely.

Politics of disturbances and recommendations will end in recruitment process

Till now, many questions have been raised about the appointment of outsourced employees in the state. Somewhere departmental officers keep their special people, then somewhere the employees are removed by showing the employees only on the papers. To eliminate this mess, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has decided to create a new corporation, which will make the entire process transparent and rules.

How will Uttar Pradesh outsourced service corporation work?

  • The concerned department will first send a list of the need of outsourced employees to the corporation.
  • The corporation will select the appropriate candidate through the selection process.
  • Placement letter, information letter and ID cards will be issued to every selected candidate.
  • Old employees will also be removed from the agency and selected through the corporation.

New criteria in recruitment process: social sensitivity with merit

In this new system, not only degrees and experiences, but social and family status will also be important:

  • Selection will apply criteria such as age, family income, educational qualification, nature and habitat.
  • Candidates living in rural areas and low family income will be given priority.
  • Widows, divorced and abandoned women will get special preference.

The biggest thing – no candidate will be interviewed, so that the selection process will be completely fair and systematic.

Honorarium is also fixed – guarantee of payment on time

Now outsourced employees will get honorarium according to their position and merit. A fixed salary structure has been created:

Employee category Monthly honorarium
type 1 ₹ 25,000
Category 2 ₹ 21,500
grade 3 ₹ 18,500
tier 4 ₹ 15,000

This time the employees will get direct payment on a scheduled date of every month. Earlier, where employees did not get salary for 3-4 months, now that problem will end.

Start of relief and trust for employees

Thousands of employees in Uttar Pradesh are offering their services through outsources, but till now they used to get neither security, neither salary nor durability. But under this new corporation system, they will get respect and rights according to their merit.

This step of the government is a moving step towards a modern, transparent and accountable administrative system, which will not only clean the recruitment process, but will also give opportunity to poor and marginalized sections.
