Panchkula: An over speeding car rammed into a medical store and a tea shop in Haryana’s Panchkula on Thursday, resulting in the death of two people. The disturbing incident, which took place near Majri Chowk in Old Panchkula, was caught on CCTV and dramatic visuals surface online.
The incident took place as the driver of the car, which was parked near the shop, lost control. The video shows that at the time of the incident, several customers were present at the counter of the medical store. The driver and the co-passenger of the car managed to flee from the spot.
A tea shop next to the medical store was also damaged due to the crash.
Moment When SUV Rammed Into Medical Store And Tea Shop:
The deceased have been identified as 18-year-old boy, Navjot, and 86-year-old Daulat Ram, reported The Tribune. Navjot’s uncle, Gurmeet, told the media house that they were travelling from Nalagarh, Himachal, to Kurukshetra for a pilgrimage and they stopped at the fast-food shop for tea when the speeding rammed into the shops.
Meanwhile, three others were also injured. In the video, it could be seen that as soon as the car rammed into the medical shop, other people present in the market rushed to the spot.
As per the report, three people stepped out of the car when it entered the parking area. A young man sitting in the back seat moved to the driver’s seat and started the vehicle.
A manhunt operation has been launched into the matter.
