Salman Khan believes that films are not being made in Bollywood, which can pull the audience to theater, while Hindi audiences adopt South’s films with an open heart. At the same time, the audience of South is very loyal for his stars and does not show the same enthusiasm for Bollywood films.

Bollywood needs strong scripts

In a press event held in Mumbai’s Mumbai, Salman spoke about the difference between the audience of South and North. He said, “We accept South’s films, go to see his films, but his fans are not as excited for our films.” He also emphasized that big budget films can be made successful not only on the basis of money, but a strong script and better storytelling.

Difference between Bollywood and South films

Salman also admitted that there is no major difference in the fees of Bollywood and South actors, but Bollywood is lacking in strong scripts. He said that when the talents of different film industry come together in big projects like ‘Ramayana’, better content can be made.

Bollywood does not get response like South

Salman said that he has worked with many South Industry directors, actors and technicians, but his films are not as successful in South. He said, “South viewers are very loyal for their stars. They recognize us, do hi-hello, but it is difficult to bring the theater.”

He also emphasized that Hindi viewers like South Stars like Rajinikanth, Ram Charan and Surya are very much liked, but South viewers do not show that much craze about Bollywood films.
