Rainfall is predicted in these regions of Karnataka
According to the weather department, coastal and Malnad districts of Karnataka will have partly cloudy skies with thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds reaching 30-40 kmph. Light to moderate rainfall is expected in isolated regions. Meanwhile, hot and dry weather is predicted in South Interior Karnataka.

No significant rainfall is expected today, making it comfortable for outdoor activities. The Air Quality Index (AQI) is expected to stand at 94, which indicates moderate air quality in the city and its adjoining areas. Today, the humidity is expected to be around 49 per cent and the wind is likely to blow from the Southeast at 13 km/h. Meanwhile, hot and humid conditions are likely to prevail in North Interior Karnataka.
The Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Centre (KSNDMC) shared a weather report for the next five days on X and wrote, “Today over the state with cloudy conditions, thunder, lightning, and squall with wind speed of 40-50 kmph is possible with scattered moderate rain over coastal and hilly districts.”

The IMD predicts partly cloudy skies for Saturday. The temperatures are likely to hover around 23 degrees Celsius and 33 degrees Celsius, respectively.
