Viney Hiremath, the founder of start-up Loom, previously made it to the news when he shared his tale and told a fairly unrelatable story of having a casual USD 970 million or about Rs 8,000 crore to his name. He acquired this fortune after selling his start-up, Loom.
Studing Physics and Looking For Internship
Hiremath i back, with what he is up to, with millions in his account.
While speaking on a podcast with Sam Parr, Hiremath said that he is currently studying physics 5-8 hours daily. In addition, he is also expanding his network on Discord groups with 18-year-olds, all the while, looking for an internship.
While speaking to Parr, Hiremath revealed he had no income right now and is looking for internships. In addition, the monthly spend is around USD 25,000.
Hiremath said that he thinks life is about creating, and he doesn’t want to spend his life swapping values and databases across different financial systems. “That’s what you are. You’re like a database row swapper.”, he added.
‘Creating Someting Fun’
Hiremath said, “You are. That’s what you are: trading financial instruments. That’s the raw truth of it in the same way that the raw truth of what we were building at Loom was not like an asynchronous video messaging platform, this bullshit that we told ourselves.”
After making a handsome deal, Hiremath’s mission is to create excitement and fun for a bunch of people whom he cares about. “For sure. If we just so happen to sell this or we just so happen to sell that, awesome.”, he added.
Rich And Unrelateable
At the beginning of the year, Hiremath had shared a post on his ‘unrelatable’ story. In this, he claime “I am rich and have no idea what to do with my life.”
In this post, he shared the tale of wanting to achieve all, while feeling numb having achieved the unthinkable. Here, he spoke about leaving Loom, giving up USD 60 million, larping as Elon Musk, and breaking up with his girlfriend.. In addition, he also spoke about his insecurities and a brief stint at DOGE.
