Washington: After becoming an US President, Donald Trump illegally entered the US and sent it back to India by handcuffs and chains on his feet and now he has taken another anti -India step. The International Religious Freedom Commission of the US government has recommended a ban on the Indian Intelligence Agency Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) in the US. It also claimed that discrimination against minorities in India has increased and international principles of religious freedom are being violated.
The US Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF) has released its annual report on religious freedom. In which objectionable recommendations have been made regarding India’s prestigious body RAW and there has been a demand to ban it. The Commission has alleged that RAW is also involved in the murder of Sikhs separatists. The US Commission has also tried to incite Khalistanis by making this allegation, Canada has also made a similar effort. The Human Rights Commission of Trump Administration is silent on inhuman behavior with foreigners including Indians in the US. On the other hand, they are trying to make such serious allegations against India.
The US Religious Freedom Commission has claimed in its report that religious freedom in India is in danger and incidents of violence and attacks on minorities are coming out. The Government of India should take appropriate steps to protect religious freedom. The Commission also questioned the Indian Citizenship Act and criticized the move to end the special status of Kashmir. India has already denied such allegations of America. He has also criticized religious freedom and recent American reports on RAW. India has not only criticized this report, but also described the US Commission as biased.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Randhir Jaiswal said that this report of the US government’s Commission is extremely biased, the Commission has once again tried to present some incidents wrongly. This American Commission is actually working on an agenda, it is not worried about religious freedom. This commission is working on the agenda to tarnish the image of India. But their efforts will not be successful. In fact, we should be worried about the American Religious Freedom Commission and include it in worrying outfits. India is home to 1.4 billion people, where everyone respects each other’s religion.
