Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain writer, Manoj Santoshi, passed away on Monday (March 24). Shilpa Shinde, who was earlier the lead actress of the show, looked after him and managed finances for his treatment. Now, Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain actor, Aasif Sheikh, in an interview, spoke about Manoj’s demise and praised Shilpa for taking care of him.
While talking to E-Times, he said, “More than me, Shilpa Shinde, who has been with Manoj in his fight with his liver ailment, is in a state of shock. When she called me to tell me about Manoj’s demise she was crying bitterly. She was all alone with Manoj, and I have a deep respect for Shilpa — aaj ke time pe koi apna itna nahi karta jitna Shilpa ne Manoj ke liye kiya.”
Aasif Sheikh Remembers Manoj Santoshi
While talking about his equation with Manoj, Aasif said that they knew each other from several years. He revealed that the writer had written the role of Vibhuti Narayan Mishra, in Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain, keeping him in mind.
“For the past six months he had been struggling with his health issues. And when I went to meet him in Hyderabad, I knew something majorly was wrong with him seeing his drastic weight loss. But he has left a big void in my life,” the actor concluded.
Aasif Sheikh’s Health
Aasif is currently resting at home as he had fallen ill during the shooting of the show in Dehradun, and he flew down to Mumbai because of his health.
Shilpa Shinde Claims Manoj Passed Away Due To Medical Negligence
After Manoj’s demise, Shilpa, in an interview with Times Now, claimed that the writer passed away due to medical negligence. She called the hospital a ‘ghatiya business’ and stated that even after Manoj passed away they were doing his dialysis.
