The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government at the Center has launched a new campaign called ‘Saugat-e-Modi’ to attract minorities. Under this scheme, party workers will go among Muslims, Sikh and Christian communities across the country and will give them ‘Saugat-e-Modi’ kits. These kits will be distributed during Eid, Baisakhi and Good Friday. The biggest focus of Saugat-e-Modi is Bihar assembly elections. The BJP is planning to reach Muslim voters in Bihar and give them gifts. The scheme was launched from Delhi on Tuesday.
Hearing the name ‘Saugat-e-Modi’, it may seem once that this plan is only for Muslims, but it is not so. This kit is being given to the needy of Muslim, Sikh and Christian communities. It is being said that the BJP is trying to unite Muslims behind this scheme. That is why the BJP plans that 32 thousand party officials will give gifts to Modi and 32 thousand poor Muslims in 32 thousand mosques.
What is in Saugat-e-Modi kit?
Saugat-e-Modi kit includes food items as well as clothes, sevaiyan, dates, dry fruits and sugar. Women’s kits also include suiting cloth. The men’s kit includes kurta-pajama. The price of each kit is said to be around 500 to 600 rupees.

He further said that we will reach the people of minority communities and Modi kits will be distributed. These kits will be distributed across the country. The kit will be distributed by 32 thousand officers, an officer will distribute the kit to 100 families.
Eid Milan Ceremony also…
Jamal Siddiqui said that the holy month of Ramadan and the upcoming festivals will work to reach the needy through the minority front campaign on the occasion of Eid, Good Friday, Easter Nauroz and Indian Samvat New Year. Along with this, Eid Milan ceremony will also be organized at the district level.
