Bollywood singer Neha Kakkar recently faced backlash for arriving three hours late at her concert in Melbourne and performing for just one hour. She also made headlines after a video of her breaking down in tears on stage went viral, where she apologised to fans for the delay. Although Neha herself has yet to publicly address the incident, her brother-singer Tony Kakkar defended her and slammed trolls for mocking her emotional moment on stage.
Sharing a video on his Instagram handle, Tony wrote, “Fans bhi rote hain.. Fans ka rona fake nahi toh artist ka kaise fake?” In response, Neha commented, “I love you the most, bhaiyu,” this is the first time Neha has reacted or commented since the controversy.
“Queen she is, My sister.. My Jaan,” captioned Tony.
On Monday evening, Tony shared a series of cryptic posts, without directly referencing the controversy surrounding his Neha’s Melbourne concert. Without naming anyone, he wrote, “Suppose I invite you to my city for an event and take full responsibility for all arrangements— booking your hotel, car, airport pickup, and tickets. Now, imagine you arrive only to find that nothing has been booked. No car at the airport, no hotel reservation, and no tickets. In that situation, who is to blame?”
He also questioned the backlash Neha faced at her Melbourne concert, writing, “Artiste maryada mein rahe, aur janta?”
