Salman Khan starrer Sikandar is one of the most awaited films of the year. The movie, which also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Kajal Aggarwal, is slated to hit the big screens on March 30, 2025. The advance booking of the film has started, and according to Sacnilk, the film for its day 1 has already collected Rs. 6.74 crore gross till now. Still three days are left, so of course, we can expect the advance bookings to get better.
Sikandar is clearly going to take a bumper opening at the box office. But, will it beat these top five highest openings of Salman Khan?
Tiger 3
Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer Tiger 3 was a Diwali release and it did an average business at the box office. But, the movie had taken a bumper opening and gave Salman his highest opening with a collection of Rs. 44.50 crore.
Bharat
Salman Khan’s 2019 release Bharat was also a semi-hit at the box office. But, as it was also released on Eid, the movie had taken a flying start with a collection of Rs. 42.30 crore on day 1.
Prem Ratan Dhan Payo
Not just on Eid, Salman Khan films also do well on Diwali. Prem Ratan Dhan Payo had taken an opening Rs. 40.35 crore, making it Salman’s third highest opening.
Sultan
Ali Abbas Zafar’s Sultan is clearly one of the best films of Salman Khan. The film, which also starred Anushka Sharma, was a blockbuster at the box office and it had minted Rs. 36.54 crore on day 1.
Tiger Zinda Hai
Salman Khan should surely work with Ali Abbas Zafar again. Three out of five films in this list are directed by Ali. After Bharat and Sultan, at fifth spot we have Tiger Zinda Hai with an opening day collection of Rs. 34.10 crore.
Now, let’s wait and watch whether Sikandar will be able to make it to the top 5 list or not.
