Gujarat weather: The heat in Gujarat has intensified in the last week of March. The temperature in most cities of the state has reached 40 degrees, while in many districts including Amreli and Tapi, the temperature is expected to reach 41 degrees. According to the Meteorological Department, due to the effect of western disturbance, there is a possibility of unseasonal rains in the state with heat in the coming days.

Temperature at 40 degrees in 15 districts

In districts like Amreli and Tapi, the temperature is expected to reach 41 degrees today. Apart from this, the temperature is estimated to be 40 degrees in districts like Anand, Aravali, Bharuch, Botad, Chhota Udaipur, Junagadh, Kheda, Mahisagar, Narmada, Panchmahal, Sabarkantha and Vadodara. On the other hand, the temperature in Ahmedabad, Banaskantha, Dahod, Gandhinagar, Morbi, Mehsana, Patan, Rajkot and Surendranagar is estimated to be around 39 degrees.

The possibility of unseasonal rain

According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, the effect of western disturbance will be seen in Gujarat from 26 March. The state may be cloudy till April 1 due to humid western winds. During this period, there is a possibility of unseasonal rains with thunderstorms from 29 March to 1 April. Today the state is moving winds from west to northwest direction.

Possibility of falling temperature and then increase

According to the department, the temperature in the state may fall by 2 to 3 degrees for the next 3 days. After this, the temperature in the entire region is likely to increase by 2 to 3 degrees. Along with this, in the last week of March, the people of the state may have to face the heat of the summer and the weather.
