Ajmer: A shocking incident surfaced from Rajasthan’s Ajmer, where a class 9 student was hit by a speeding Thar. The impact was so severe that the girl student was flung four feet in the air. The incident was recorded in the CCTV installed in the area. The video surfaced online and is doing rounds on social media.
According to reports, the girl got down from her school bus and was crossing the road when she was hit by the speeding SUV. The incident took place on Ramner Road under the jurisdiction of the Gandhinagar Police Station at around 3:30 pm. The girl has been identified as Monika.

In the video, it could be seen that the driver of the vehicle lost control and hit the girl. The video shows that the girl tried to save her, but the Thar was at high speed and she could not get the time to escape.
The vehicle stopped after hitting the girl and the driver fled from the spot. Locals gathered at the spot and informed the police. They rushed the girl to a hospital, where she is currently undergoing treatment.
The girl reportedly suffered injuries to the head and spinal cord, reported News24. A detailed investigation has been launched into the matter to find out whether any personal enmity angle was involved in the incident.
A manhunt operation has been launched to nab the accused driver.
