Following the row over stand-up comedian Kunal Kamra’s remarks on Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, he dropped a new parody song on Wednesday, taking a dig at Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and referring to her as ‘saree wali didi.’ The video begins with Kunal saying, “Aapka tax ka paisa ho raha hai Hawa Hawai.”
Taking at a dig at Nirmala, he then proceeds to sing a parody version of the Hindi song Hawa Hawai, “Desh mein itni mehngai, sarkar ke saath hai aayi. Logon ki lootne kamai, saadi (saree) wali didi hai aayi. Salary churane yeh hai aayi, middle class dabane yeh hai aayi. Popcorn khilane yeh hai aayi, kehte hain isko—Nirmala Tai.”
“She is the JNU student that the country deserves. Galat university mein padhi—Banaras Hindu University mein padhti, toh ek achhi Finance Minister hoti,” added Kamra.

He added, “Inn sadkon ki barbadi, karne sarkar hai aayi, Metro hai inke mann mein, khod kar le angadaai, Traffic badhaane ye hai aayi, bridges giraane ye hai aayi, Kehte hain isko, tanashahi.” Further, he states, “Kuch farak nahi padta hai aapke aspirations gaye khachre ke dabbe mein. Ek corporate employee, corporate se zyada tax bharega.”

Kunal took a dig, saying, “Jo inhone Maharashtra ke election me kia hai… bolna padega… pehle Shiv Sena BJP se bahar aa gayi fir Shiv Sena Shiv Sena se bahar aa gayi… NCP NCP se bahar aa gayi… ek voter ko 9 button dediye… sab confuse ho gaye…”
