Bijnor: A youth was murdered in a rehabilitation centre in Uttar Pradesh’s Bijnor on Tuesday night by two inmates. The CCTV footage of the incident is now making rounds on the internet.

First two men tied his legs, forcibly stuffed a cloth in his mouth. Then they strangled him to death with a towel. The duo dragged him wrapped in a sheet and threw him out of the centre. The CCTV footage of the murder is now making rounds on the internet. The incident is of Tuesday late night.
The deceased has been identified as Faisal Shamsul Hasan and his attackers have been identified as Gaurav and Amit. Both the accused have been arrested by the Police. The incident took place at Adarsh Nasha Mukti Kendra.
26-year-old Faisal was found dead in the morning by people sleeping next to him. He was rushed to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
The CCTV footage installed in Adarsh Nasha Mukti Kendra shows that Gaurav and Amit, who live in the center, first go to Faisal. Then they talk to him. After this, they forcibly start stuffing a cloth in his mouth. When Faisal tries to defend himself, the accused standing behind him holds his mouth.
After stuffing the cloth, the accused standing behind makes Faisal lie down and starts strangling him with a towel. While the other accused sits on top of him and holds his hand. Faisal writhes and struggles for some time, then calms down.Another man sitting behind the accused is seen watching the incident.After Faisal dies, both of them drag him away, covering him on a sheet.
Family’s Allegation:
Shamsul Hasan, the deceased Faisal’s father, has said that we had admitted Faisal to the drug rehabilitation centre on 27 February to get him rid of his addiction. At around 4 am, we got a call from the centre that Faisal’s health is very bad and he is being taken to the hospital. When we reached there, our son had already died.
The family alleges that after Faisal was brought home, marks were found on his neck and bleeding marks were found in his ears, which raised suspicion of murder. When they reached the rehabilitation centre and checked the CCTV footage, it clearly showed that two youths were beating Faisal, his legs were tied and then he was strangled.

SP Rural Ram Arj has said that Gaurav and Amit, admitted in Adarsh Deaddiction Center, strangled Faisal by stuffing a cloth in his mouth. When the center staff came to know about the incident, they rushed him to the hospital, where the doctors declared him dead. A case has been registered on the complaint of the family and both the accused have been taken into custody and are being questioned.
