Following the incident, the CM proceeded to a stage near the temple, where local representatives presented several demands. They urged for Kareela Dham to be developed into “Kareela Lok,” requested the establishment of hotels, and demanded a ban on liquor sales in the area. CM Yadav assured them of necessary arrangements and announced an additional ₹1 crore for the ongoing fair, in addition to the ₹10 lakh already allocated.
The temple is currently hosting a three-day fair for Rangpanchami. CM Yadav was welcomed at the helipad by Commissioner Manoj Kumar Khatri, IG Arvind Kumar Saxena, Minister Rakesh Shukla, Collector Subhash Kumar Dwivedi, and SP Vineet Kumar Jain. After spending about an hour at the event, he left for Indore.
