Ultraviolette has recorded a major achievement with its newly unveiled electric two-wheeler, the Tesseract. Just two weeks after its global debut, the company has received over 50,000 pre-bookings, reflecting strong interest from customers.

Ultraviolette has announced an introductory price of Rs 1.2 lakh for the first 50,000 bookings of its new Tesseract electric scooter. Aimed at tech-savvy riders, the Tesseract combines advanced features with performance-driven design, offering a compelling option in the growing electric two-wheeler segment.

Narayan Subramaniam, CEO and Co-founder of Ultraviolette Automotive, commented on this unprecedented demand: “The response to the Tesseract has been absolutely phenomenal. Crossing 50,000 pre-bookings in just two weeks reflects the appetite for a truly advanced mobility solution. Ultraviolette’s Tesseract electric scooter promises strong performance with a peak power output of 20bhp (14.7 kW). It offers an inter-city range of up to 261 km (IDC), making it suitable for both daily use and longer rides. The scooter also supports fast charging, reaching 80% charge in under an hour, providing added convenience for riders who need quick top-ups during their commute or travel.

Ultraviolette Tesseract is packed with segment-first safety features, including an integrated radar system and dashcam combined with Omnisense mirrors. These offer advanced functions like blindspot detection, lane change assist, overtaking assist, and real-time collision alerts. To further improve safety and efficiency, the scooter also comes with traction control and dynamic regenerative braking. Riders are supported by a 7-inch touchscreen TFT display and multi-colour LED indicators within the side mirrors, aimed at boosting situational awareness and reducing the risk of accidents during every ride.
