Maharashtra Nagpur violence: The mastermind of the violence erupted on Monday night in Nagpur, Maharashtra has been identified. Police described Faheem Shamim Khan as the mastermind of Nagpur violence.

Nagpur police claimed that violence erupted in Nagpur only after 38 -year -old Faheem Shamim Khan’s speech. He gave inflammatory speeches to provoke the community. Faheem Khan is the Nagpur president of the Minority Democratic Party.

 

Faheem Khan is the main accused of violence.

Faheem Khan contested against Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari from Nagpur Lok Sabha seat in 2024. An FIR has also been registered against him as the main accused in this violence. Aggressive violence erupted in Nagpur due to dispute over Aurangzeb’s tomb. There were clashes and sabotage between two groups in various areas including the palace of Nagpur in Maharashtra and Hanspuri and several policemen, including the DGP, were attacked.

50 people arrested

Police have arrested 50 people in connection with Nagpur violence. A complaint has been filed against more than 100 people. Who is searching for the accused involved in the violence. It is being claimed that actor Vicky Kaushal’s film ‘Chhava’ instigated public anger against Aurangzeb. Samajwadi Party leader Abu Azmi described Aurangzeb as a good ruler. On the other hand, violence erupted after the Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal spread protests over Aurangzeb’s demand for demolition of the grave.
