Every year the opening ceremony is held before the first match of the IPL, but this time the BCCI has planned to do something different.

In celebration of the completion of 18 years of IPL, the BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) has decided that an opening ceremony will be held not only before the first match, but wherever the first match of that season will be held in every stadium.

Every stadium of IPL 2025 will be Grand Celebration!

This time the IPL is going to be a big entertainment event not only for cricket, but also a big entertainment event.

BCCI’s big plan:

Wherever the first match will be played in IPL 2025, there will be an opening ceremony.
This special ceremony will be held in 13 different stadiums in India.
There will be a great performance of national and local artists everywhere.

According to sources:

“We wanted to fill more colors in the tournament, so that the audience of everywhere can enjoy the opening ceremony.

IPL 2025 will start from KKR VS RCB match

• First match: March 22, 2025
• Teams: Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) vs Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB)
• Wenue: Eden Gardens, Kolkata
• Opening Ceremony: A grand opening presentation will be held before the match

First opening ceremony confirms in Kolkata

Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) chairman Snehashish Ganguly has confirmed that there will be a great opening ceremony before this match.

He said:
“The demand for tickets is very high and after a long time there will be an IPL opening ceremony in Kolkata.”

KKR vs RCB will be 35 minutes grand show before the match!

  Several veterans including ICC chairman Jai Shah will be involved.

  35 minute grand opening ceremony
