A police station of Jharkhand Police overshadowed him. Sonu Kumar, in -charge of Ghanudih OP of Dhanbad district, found it expensive to enter a woman’s house at night. After receiving the complaint, SSP Hrideep P. Janardanan removed him from the police station. Now he has been sent to the post of JSI (Junior Sub Inspector) in Hariharpur police station.
In his place, Pankaj Kumar, former in -charge of Kumardhubi OP, has been made the new in -charge of Ghanudih.
What is the whole matter?
Recently a video of the then Ghanudih OP in -charge Sonu Kumar went viral. In the video, he was seen forcibly taking a woman and her family to the police station at midnight.
Woman’s charge:
- The woman says that Sonu Kumar likes her daughter and wanted to marry her.
- He got angry at the family refusal and left Ghanudih and called the patrol party from his old field Dhanbad police station.
- Then at night, without a woman police, they reached the woman’s house in Binod Nagar of Dhanbad police station area.
- He forcibly picked up the woman, her daughter and son and brought them to Dhanbad police station at night.
Administration in action after video went viral
As soon as the video of the incident went viral, the administration came into action and the SSP took tough action.
SHO went, got new responsibility
- Sonu Kumar was removed from the post of Ghanudih OP in -charge.
- He was made JSI at Hariharpur police station.
- In his place, Sub-Inspector Pankaj Kumar was appointed as the new in-charge of Ghanudih OP.
What is the main allegation?
- Enter the woman’s house at night without a woman police.
- To take a woman, her daughter and son to take away without any warrant or legitimate order.
- Trying to intimidate the woman’s family.
