Congress MP Rakesh Rathore was released from jail at 8 am on Wednesday after 48 days. During his release, a large crowd gathered outside the jail, which included his son Ratnam Rathore, family members and supporters. The MP was brought to the residence in Loharbagh from a white colored private car, where strong preparations were made to welcome him.

MP’s response after release

As soon as he came out of jail, when he was asked a question about the allegation of rape, he said, “For whatever allegations I have been on me, people have demanded a severe punishment for me.

Before reaching the MP’s residence, he was welcomed by writing “welcome” from lime on the road. After reaching home, a huge crowd of supporters and well -wishers gathered. Gulal was welcomed with a vaccine and a wave of congratulations. Meanwhile, Congress leader Dinesh Singh also visited Lucknow to meet him.

MP Rakesh Rathore said, “The battle that we were fighting did not like it. The press conference I held on January 11 was a decisive step against me.

he adds, “Soon I will come out and come forward in the court and all layers will open one by one.

The MP assured the public that now he will sit in his office at 9 am every day and listen to public issues and find solutions.

  • 17 January 2025 – A woman accused MP Rakesh Rathore of raping her on the pretext of marriage.
  • 23 January 2025-Bail plea was rejected in MP-MLA court of the district.
  • 30 January 2025 – The MP was arrested by the city Kotwali police from a residence in Loharbagh.
  • March 11, 2025 – Lucknow bench sanctions bail in the rape case.
  • March 18, 2025 – Police recommended to increase BNS Section 69 in the case, but the MP side filed a bail in the CJM court and got bail in this section as well.

Now after his release, the discussion in political corridors has intensified, while supporters are calling it a conspiracy. The MP has resolved to continue his struggle.
