Former India and Mumbai skipper Dilip Vengsakar will be honoured with Lifetime Achievement Award for 2022-23 at the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) Annual Awards Ceremony on Thursday at MCA Sharad Pawar Indoor Cricket Academy and Recreation Centre, BKC. These grand awards will recognize and celebrate outstanding contributions to Mumbai and Indian cricket for the combined years 2022-23 and 2023-24. Prof. Ratnakar Shetty will be recognised for his decades of service in cricket administration.

For 2023-24, the trailblazing journey of former women’s cricketer Diana Edulji will be celebrated. MCA will also acknowledge the dedicated service of administrator Pravin Barve to Mumbai cricket.

The Mumbai Ranji Trophy-winning team, led by Ajinkya Rahane, will be honoured for their remarkable achievement in the domestic circuit, further strengthening Mumbai’s cricketing legacy. Players from all age groups (Men & Women) who have excelled in their respective categories will be recognised for their outstanding performances.

Individual Awards will be given to cricketers who have excelled in their age group. The awards ceremony will be graced by Governor of Maharashtra, C. P. Radhakrishnan, and Minister Of Information Technology and Cultural Affairs, Govt of Maharashtra, Ashish Shelar as the Chief Guests.
