BJP leader and Maharashtra Minister Nitesh Rane responded to the Nagpur violence incident, saying, “We will not spare those who raised their hands against the police. This is not the first time such an incident has occurred. What kind of protest is this? Why do these jihadis always target the police? Those who attacked our police will remember their ‘Abba’ in Pakistan.”

According to reports, 33 police personnel and five civilians were injured in the violence that erupted in Nagpur’s Mahal. One police officer was attacked with an axe. CM Devendra Fadnavis has directed Nagpur Police to take strict action against the accused, and five CRPF units have been deployed in the area.

Nitesh Rane further stated, “There is nothing wrong in speaking the truth and standing with Hindus. I stand with Sanatan. Aurangzeb must be removed from the textbooks — this is Congress’ sin.” He added, “Earlier, similar protests were held in Bhiwandi and Azad Maidan, where police personnel were attacked. But this time, our ‘Deva Bhau’ will take such action that these people will remember their ‘Abba’ in Pakistan.”

Responding to Shiv Sena (UBT) MLA Aaditya Thackeray’s remarks, Nitesh Rane said, “Aaditya Thackeray has no right to make allegations because, during Uddhav Thackeray’s tenure, slogans in favor of Pakistan were raised.” Aaditya Thackeray had earlier alleged that the BJP was trying to turn Maharashtra into the next Manipur.

Rane held Samajwadi Party MLA Abu Azmi responsible for the violence in Nagpur and said that it was a preplanned violence.

While speaking to media in Mumbai, he said, “Abu Azmi is responsible for this. He started this issue. This was a preplanned violence to defame the government. We will not spare those who raise their hands on our police personnel. Strict action will be taken in this matter.”

The SP MLA had reportedly said that the Mughal tyrant Aurangzeb was not a “cruel administrator” and “built many temples.”
