Mumbai: 19-Year-Old Driver Injures Mother & Daughter In Andheri After Speeding Car |

Mumbai: In a horrifying incident, a mother and daughter were injured after being struck by a speeding car. The driver, a 19-year-old, was driving a car when the accident occurred on Sunday. The mother and daughter were walking when suddenly, the speeding car came and hit them on the road.

A 31-year-old daughter and her 54-year-old mother were injured in an accident. The incident occurred on Lokhandwala Back Road in Andheri West, Mumbai, while they were taking a walk after dinner. The victims have been identified as Barkha Thakur and her daughter Priyanka Agarwal, according to reports by Hindustan Times.

A 19-year-old named Mohit Nirmal, a second-year college student from Jogeshwari West surrendered to the Versova police station. He reported that he was driving his friend’s car with two other passengers inside when he lost control of the vehicle.

Senior Inspector Gajanan Pawar from the Versova police stated, “The accused driver has been booked for rash driving under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, and has been served a notice,” as per reports.

A Man Killed by a JCB Driver in Vile Parle

A 55-year-old man was killed by a JCB driver in Vile Parle, Mumbai. The accident occurred on March 16 at around 3:20 PM. The man was sleeping near a road construction site when the incident took place.

The driver attempted to flee the scene but was later apprehended after the police examined CCTV footage. It showed that a JCB was operating at the accident site while the victim was nearby. The Juhu police have registered a case against the driver for causing death.
