MP March 18 Weather Updates: Cold Winds At Night Following A Drop In Daytime Temperatures, Light Drizzles Expected | ANANDSHIVRE
Indore (Madhya Pradesh): After Holi, there was an evident drop in the temperature of Madhya Pradesh. The state is set to experience further cooling as rainfall is expected in several parts of the state on Thursday.
Due to the activation of the new weather system, many parts of the state, including Bhopal and Indore, might witness light showers with lightning.
According to Senior weather officials , light rainfall with lightning was recorded in parts of the state over the past 24 hours, with Panna receiving the highest rainfall at 2mm. And over the next 24 to 48 hours, more areas are expected to see rain, further affecting the temperature.
The day temperature of most cities in the state has seen a drop of about one to two degrees in last 24 hours.
Mandla remains the hottest
Talking about other districts of the state, Mandla district of the state was the hottest on Monday. The maximum temperature of the day was recorded here at 37.5 degrees. At the same time, the temperature in Chitrakoot (Satna) was recorded at 37.1 degrees. Besides this, Taluna (Barwani)/Narmadapuram recorded 36.8 degrees, Khargon 36.6 degrees and Khandwa 36.5 degrees.
In contrast, among the five major cities of Madhya Pradesh, Bhopal recorded the lowest minimum temperature at 18°C on Monday-Tuesday, followed by 18.5°C in Ujjain, 19°C in Gwalior, 19.4°C in Indore, and 19.6°C in Jabalpur.
Weather for next two days
With the regular changes in the weather, meteorologists predict that Madhya Pradesh will experience another spell of rainfall in the coming two days. Residents should prepare for fluctuating temperatures as the state transitions from the warmth of Holi to a cooler spell.
