Shreyas Iyer, who played an important role in winning the title win to Team India by batting brilliantly at number 4 in the Champions Trophy 2025, has made a big statement about his performance.
Iyer admitted that batting in the final was not easy, especially against New Zealand’s best spin attack.

“My role was clear – maintaining the speed of the team and making a strong partnership.”

“This is the same as we have grown up playing on the spinning track in Mumbai.
“I had learned in the beginning that you should use your feet to play a strong footwork.”
Iyer’s performance was also excellent in the World Cup 2023, where he contributed significantly to every match.
