New Delhi: Amid the ongoing language dispute in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu has given a big shock to MK Stalin saying that Hindi should not be hated.

The Chief Minister said that people studying in their mother tongue are doing well in the whole world. He said that there is a common belief that knowledge comes only from English, but it is not true.

Addressing the assembly in Amravati, Naidu said that language is only for communication. Knowledge will not come from language. Those who study in their mother tongue are doing well all over the world.

It is very easy to learn from your mother tongue. Not only this, he said, “I am telling you very clearly that language is not for hatred.” Andhra Pradesh’s mother tongue is Telugu. Hindi is a national language and English is international language.

The Chief Minister said that people should learn many languages for their mother tongue as well as work. He said that learning Hindi will help in communication in Delhi.

Referring to people traveling in countries like Japan and Germany, he said that learning these languages in India will make it easier for them to travel abroad.

Significantly, if we look at this whole matter, this dispute is related to NEP (National Education Policy). Tamil Nadu fears that Hindi may be imposed in the state.
