Indore: Man Falls To Death From Roof During Party Amid Power Cut | Representative Image
Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A man in Indore died after falling from the roof of his house while he was partying with his friends on Saturday night.
Effect of alcohol and a sudden power cut are considered as the cause behind the incident.
According to the police, the deceased has been identified as Devendra Singh. Singh originally hailed from Katni in Madhya Pradesh. However, he was working in a private company in Pithampur for about a year.
Devendra was partying with his friends on Saturday night, during which he lost his balance and fell from the roof into an open field behind his residence.
His friends immediately rushed him to the hospital. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries during the treatment, late at night.
The accident happened during a power cut
According to Devendra’s friends, they were partying at the roof of his residence on Saturday night, during which he was under the influence of alcohol.
Meanwhile, the power went off at around 11 pm. While everyone was laughing and joking, they heard Devendra scream, and found that he had fallen from the roof.
According to the police, it is being investigated whether Devendra’s death occurred by accident or is there any other reason behind the same.
The cops are interrogating all his friends and witnesses present on the site of this incident. Officials confirmed that the postmortem of the deceased is also undergoing.
Further action would be taken on the basis of investigation results.
