Mumbai Indians pre-season camp for IPL 2025 is in full swin. However it was Hardik’s four-year-old son, Agastya, who stole the spotlight with his unexpected display of fair play while playing with Tilak Varma.
In a video shared by Mumbai Indians, Tilak was seen bowling to little Agastya, who confidently played his shots like a seasoned batter. But when he got out attempting a big hit, Tilak, like any elder, encouraged him to keep batting. To Tilak’s surprise, Agastya firmly replied, “Out means out,” and insisted on switching roles, ready to bowl instead. The response left Tilak in disbelief, as young kids usually demand to keep batting regardless of being dismissed.
Mumbai Indians eye 6th title after poor campaign last season
Meanwhile, Mumbai Indians continue to gear up for the IPL 2025 season, with players gradually assembling in the camp ahead of their title hunt. Among the first players to join the squad are Hardik Pandya, Tilak Varma, and Trent Boult.
Mumbai had a horrendous campaign in the previous season as they finished at the bottom of the points table with just four wins from 14 matches having eight points to their name.
Mumbai also built a strong squad for the upcoming season in the mega auction as they bought international stars such as Trent Boult, Will Jacks, Ryan Rickelton, Mitchell Santner, Reece Topley and Mujeeb-ur-Rahman amongst others.
