Bollywood actress Bhumi Pednekar has added another feather to her cap. On Saturday (March 15) she announced that she completed a prestigious course on Leadership, Global Policy, and Life at the Harvard Kennedy School. Sharing her excitement on social media, Bhumi also opened up about the challenging yet fulfilling experience of going back to school. She also posted a series of pictures and videos to give a glimpse of her educational journey.
Taking to Instagram, the Badhaai Do actress proudly displayed her certificate and shared glimpses of her time at Harvard. “Going back to school was fun and so challenging. Math is still not my thing,” she wrote with a touch of humour.
One of the highlights of her experience was meeting former New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern. Calling her a “fellow YGL and an inspiration,” Bhumi expressed admiration for Ardern’s leadership. She also shared pictures with her cohort, calling them a group that always cheered and hyped each other up.
Her Harvard journey also included attending insightful lectures on climate action, hearing influential speakers like David Rubinstein and Larry Summers, and even indulging in campus traditions. Bhumi humourously mentioned the legend of the haunted Harvard library, and wrote in the caption of her post, “Built in 1636, kuch toh hoga hi (there must be something eerie about it).”
