Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The central state’s air has been filled with colourful ‘Gulal’ and euphoria, as the citizens began to play Holi since early morning on Friday. Not just with colours, but the state has also been painted with happiness, joy, enthusiasm and of course a variety of delicacies, including everyone’s favourite ‘Gujiya.’

On the occasion, not just common people, but the entire political-sphere celebrated ‘the festival of colours’ with huge gaiety.

Madhya Pradesh chief minister Mohan Yadav extended with heartfelt greetings to the people of the state on the occasion of ‘Basant Utsav’. He also celebrated the festival with party workers and citizens at the ‘Holi Milan Samaroh’ organized at the CM residence in Bhopal.

The official X handle of CM Mohan Yadav shared the glimpses of Holi celebration at CM residence. 

The event was attended by BJP state president VD Sharma, state organization general secretary Hitanand Sharma, MLA Rameshwar Sharma, MLA BD Sabnani, and several other dignitaries.

CM Yadav emphasized that Holi is not just a festival of colors but also a symbol of brotherhood, harmony, and joy. He highlighted that in Sanatan culture, festivals are celebrated according to seasonal changes, and Holi, observed on the full moon of the Phagun month, holds great significance as a festival of happiness and togetherness.

The Chief Minister urged people to celebrate Holi with love and unity, strengthening the bonds of brotherhood in society.

 

Cabinet Minister Kailah Vijavargiya took the holi enthusiasm to next level as he sung Amitabh Bacchan’s song ‘Rang Barse’ in Indore on Thursday night, before the Holika Dahan event.

MP Shankar Lalwani also celebrated holi participating in ‘Samrasta Phag Utsav’ and ‘Holi Milan’ organized in Indore. He extended greetings and wished everyone a vibrant and joyful Holi!

Additionally, other prominent political figures including Union Ministers Shivraj Singh Singh Chouhan and Jyotiraditya Scindia wished the citizen a Happy Holi through their official X handles.

Opposition leaders, PCC chief Jitu Patwari and former CM Kamal Nath also extended their wishes to people through X.
