Mumbai-Keeping in mind the upcoming Holi-Dhuleti festivals, the Mumbai Police has issued an advice to ensure public safety and maintain peace. This order issued will be effective from March 12 to 18.
According to this order, some activities have been banned that are inconvenient to the public and can disrupt law and order.
Police have banned pornographic language and songs under this advisory. According to this, porn words, slogans and such songs will not be allowed. Legal action can be taken against anyone involved in such antics. Along with this, the police have prohibited citizens from imitating or performing inappropriate pornographic gestures, derogatory tasks through paintings, placards or other items.
Along with this, the police have urged the pedestrians to sprinkle colored water or avoid the water. Apart from this, throwing water -filled balloons in public places during this festival has also been banned. Officials clarified that strict action would be taken against him if a person is found to be violating the said police process. Along with this, the police have also urged the residents to celebrate the festival responsibly and to maintain decency in public places and respect the rights of others.
