The temperature has been recorded between 30-35 degrees Celsius in Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Jharkhand, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Ganges of West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh.

Along with this, yellow alert has been issued in 5 districts including Orange Alerts and Vadodara in 6 districts including Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar. According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature is expected to be between 40 and 43 degrees in some areas of Saurashtra, Kutch, North Gujarat and South Gujarat on the next 2 days i.e. Holi.

The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert in Kachch, Banaskantha, Morbi, Surendranagar, Rajkot and Surat on 12 March in view of the possibility of heat stroke. Apart from this, summer alert has also been issued in Sabarkantha, Porbandar and Bhavnagar. Along with this, the department said that Jamnagar, Devbhoomi Dwarka, Junagadh, Gir Somnath, Amreli, Ahmedabad, Anand, Bharuch, Navsari and Valsad may have hot and humid weather.
When will the heat get relief?
Meteorologist Ambalal Patel has predicted the scorching heat situation in the state. According to him, people in the state can get relief from the heat from March 15. According to Ambalal Patel’s prediction, the people of the state will get partial relief from the heat from March 15. During this time, the temperature in some districts will be around 33 degrees to 36 degrees. The temperature in Central-North Gujarat will be around 34 to 36 degrees.
Whereas, the temperature in the coastal region may be 33 degrees. He further stated that due to western disturbance in the northern mountainous region of the country, there is a possibility of cloudy on 13-14 March during Holi days. In some places there is a possibility of unseasonal rains. Apart from this, there is a possibility of cloudy by 20 March and rain may also occur at some places.
