On behalf of the trust running Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai, Rs. The incident of embezzlement of Rs 1200 crore has come to light. The trust has alleged that former trustees have rigged Rs 100 crore. The 1200 crore mark has crossed.

 

Lilavati Kirtilal Mehta Medical Trust claims that the embezzled amount in the last few years is Rs 1,00,000 crore. It will cost Rs 2100 crore. The first announcement in this regard was made in July 2024. However, allegations of money refinement have been leveled since 2001. The hospital has filed a case in court to get back the money. On 7 March, the trust lodged a new complaint with the Bandra Police. A complaint has also been lodged in the ED. It has been alleged that due to lack of funds, daily services provided to patients in the hospital are being affected. This is the biggest scam in the medical field. The IT department has allocated Rs 100 crore. A case of rigging of Rs 500 crore has been registered. Former Mumbai police chief and now Lilavati Hospital acting chief Parambir Singh said that the trustees allegedly responsible are in Belgium and Dubai. There are allegations that former trustees embezzled money by witchcraft. Human relics were found under the floor of the trustee’s office, eight urns filled with bones and hair. These items have been sealed and handed over to the police as evidence.
