Cricket’s superpower cannot be imagined by any big cricket tournament without India, but Australia and England have prepared a celebration in which India will not be seen anywhere.

Australia and England will play day and night match in Melbourne to celebrate 150 years of Test cricket. The Australian Cricket Board has announced that Test matches will be played in Melbourne from 11 March 2027. The first Test match at this historic stadium was played between Australia and England in 1877. The 1977 centenary Test match between the two teams was played at MCG. Australia won both prestigious Test matches by a similar margin of 45 runs. Australia will host the Ashes series in 2025-26. Australian Board Chief Executive Todd Greenberg said that MCG will be played day and night test, allowing people to visit the stadium. Australia has played 13 days and night Test matches so far, out of which it has won 12. Eight matches were to be held in Adelaide. Although the ICC receives most of its revenue from India, it is not clear because of keeping India out of the anniversary of the first international match of cricket.
