Every day new revelations are being made in the gold smuggling case associated with Kannada actress Ranya Rao. The case has become more serious due to the entry of CBI in this case. Ranya’s flat was raided in Bengaluru. Ranya Rao is currently in jail. There has been a transaction of crores of rupees in gold smuggling. Meanwhile, the special team of Crime Branch is also investigating the bitcoin case.

What is it related to bitcoin?

The Bitcoin scam came into the limelight when the government clarified that 12 acres of industrial land was not allotted to his company Kshiroda India Private Limited in Ranya Rao in Tumkur district. And Ranya Rao’s brother Rishabh is a director in this company. Apart from this, the police is also investigating how the gold paid illegally from Dubai was paid. And the investigation has also started whether the cryptocurrency plays any role in it.

Is Ranya’s brother Bitcoin associated with the mastermind of the scam?

Ranya Rao’s brother Rishabh came on the radar of the SIT due to the alleged relationship with Srikrishna alias Sriki, the mastermind of the Bitcoin scam. The SIT has so far questioned Ranya twice. In this case, Rushabh was last questioned in January. In his statement before the SIT, Rishabh claimed that he came in contact with an international hacker Sriki through a common friend named M. Hakib. In 2018, SIT called Rishabh to purchase a luxury sports car and inform about the source of money for it. Rishabh told that I was an intern in a car showroom. I met Sriki through Hakib. One day Sriki came to the showroom and after seeing the car, decided to buy it. Apart from this, I do not know anything. SIT sources said that Rushabh will be summoned again, but he has not yet received any information requests from the Revenue Intelligence Directorate or Central Investigation Bureau in the gold smuggling case.
