In Balochistan, Pakistan, rebels have hijacked the Jafar Express train. The incident took place on Tuesday afternoon, but so far the Pakistani security forces have failed to rescue the train. The situation is so serious that the Pakistani Army and Security Force are present at a distance of just one kilometer, but they have not been able to reach the train till now.
104 passengers saved themselves, the army has no contribution
During this incident, a total of 104 passengers, including children and women aboard the train, somehow saved themselves by reaching a nearby station. These passengers said that the rebels of the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) released them and warned them not to look back. According to passengers, the Pakistani Army or security forces had no role in their release.
According to Dawn’s report, more than 400 passengers were present in the Jafar Express. Apart from this, several Pakistani security forces personnel were also on the train, which have been taken hostage by the rebels.

Train driver directly attacks, entire train occupied
According to the information so far, the rebels first attacked the driver of the train directly, which stopped the train. After this, the rebels captured all the bogies. The incident occurred in the Dhadar area near Boln Pass in Balochistan, which is strategically sensitive.
It is becoming difficult for the army to conduct an operation in the region as it is surrounded by hills on three sides and is a narrow tunnel on the fourth side. The Pakistani Army claims that they have so far killed 16 rebels, but have not confirmed it. At the same time, according to Don newspaper, there is no clear information about how many passengers have been killed so far. But according to officials, at least 10 people, including the train driver, have been killed and more than a dozen security personnel have also become victims of rebels.
Army claim wrong, passengers saved themselves
According to the report of Don newspaper, the situation regarding the release of 104 passengers is not yet clear. It cannot be said that he himself managed to escape or was part of an army operation. Pakistan’s Minister of State for Home Talal Chaudhary says that rebel passengers are using the “human shield”, avoiding taking any major steps. He said that security forces are hesitant to directly firing, because this may also endanger the lives of the hostages.
Pak Army stopped a kilometer away, failed in action
The Pakistani Army and security forces made several attempts to withdraw the occupation of the train last night, but they failed due to geographical conditions in the area. The army has made its base one kilometer from the train and deployed jet aircraft, gunship helicopters and drones.
Baloch rebels had earlier carried out small -scale attacks, but for the first time they have taken such a large number of passengers hostage. Earlier they used to target only people of Punjabi origin, but this time they have hijacked the entire train, which is raising serious questions on Pakistan’s security system.
