If you have a bundle of 100 or 200 rupee notes, then spend it quickly, because the Reserve Bank of India is going to issue new notes of 100 and 200 rupees soon. These new notes will come with the signature of Governor Sanjay Malhotra. However, his design will be similar to the notes of the Mahatma Gandhi (new) series released earlier.

The RBI has clarified that all 100 and 200 rupee notes issued earlier will remain valid and will not be prevented from circulation in the market. RBI Chief General Manager Puneet Pancholi said that the aim of this decision is to maintain stability in the banking system and ensure smooth operation of cash supply.
Apart from this, the RBI will soon issue new Rs 50 new notes, which will be signed by Governor Sanjay Malhotra. This will also be the same as the old notes of the Mahatma Gandhi (new) series.
