Global Market: There were mixed signs for the Indian market today. FIIs have seen selling in cash. But there was a purchase in futures. Flat trading is being seen in gift Nifty. Mixed business is being seen in Asia. Dow futures saw a slight increase. Despite good recovery from the lower level, the US recorded a decline of up to 1% yesterday.

Confusion over tariff

Trump increased the tariff to 50% on Canada. The tariff was increased on Canadian steel and aluminum. Trump first increased the tariff and then withdrawn it. Canada increased the tariff in response to 25% of electricity surcharge. Trump will impose tariffs on Canadian auto parts from April 2. Canada should merge with America. If it merges with America, there will be no tariff. American and Canadian officials will meet tomorrow.

Inflation figures in America will be released today

Asian market

Today, mixed business is being seen in Asian markets. The gift Nifty is trading with a gain of 3.00 points. Whereas, Nikkei is seen with a gain of 0.29 per cent to around 36,898.83. Whereas, Straits Times is seeing a growth of 0.25 per cent. Taiwan’s markets are trading at 22,360.25 with a gain of 1.31 percent. While Hang Seng was seen 0.20 per cent at 23,734.83. Meanwhile, Kospi is trading 1.62 percent to 2,578.69. At the same time, Shanghai Composite is trading at 3,375.56 with a decline of 4.27 points, or 0.13 per cent.
