India Yamaha Motor (IYM) has introduced its first hybrid motorcycle in India, the 2025 FZ-S Fi Hybrid, priced at Rs 1,44,800 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new model features a refined design with sharper tank contours, giving it a more modern and dynamic look while maintaining its bold identity. A notable update is the integration of front turn signals within the air intake area, enhancing both aerodynamics and visual appeal.
The 2025 Yamaha FZ-S Fi Hybrid is powered by a 149cc Blue Core engine that now meets OBD-2B emission standards. It comes equipped with Yamaha’s Smart Motor Generator (SMG) for smoother and quieter starts, along with the Stop & Start System (SSS), which enhances fuel efficiency by automatically turning off the engine when idle and restarting it instantly with a clutch input.
